U.S. Machine Cancel Identifier -- Circle Line Type

Congratulations! You have a cancel that ought to appear in this finder, since it has the postmark inside a circle (or with some lettering outside to the right and/or the left edge of the circle), and the canceller is made up of horizontal lines. However, if your cancellation is before 1900, especially in the 1880's and early 1890's, try the webpage for early American non-flag machines.

Are the day and time in one continuous single line inside the postmark circle? (Note that the year may be just outside the right edge of the circle, and/or the month may be just outside the left edge of the circle.

Yes [one continuous line like this ] or this ]

No [day and time on different lines]
